Reservations Clerk and Store Cashier

Spring Valley Resort, 7489 Sideroad 5 East, RR6, Mount Forest, ON_

Reporting to the Resort Administrator, the Reservations Clerk/Store Cashier will be responsible for the Front Desk/Reception and Retail Store at Spring Valley Resort.

What you will be doing:

Processing reservations over the phone, online and in person.
Handling all outgoing and incoming communication.
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the main office and retail store.
Payment processing.
End of day reports and deposits.
Inventory
Maintaining customer accounts/files.

**Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Skills and Abilities:

Math/basic accounting skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Strong time management and organizational skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Be aware of and operate within the applicable Occupational Health and Safety Legislation Standards, Environmental Health and Safety Policies, and company Health and Safety policies.
Maintain a professional appearance and have a "Can Do" positive attitude.
Maintain professional composure in challenging situations.
Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to prioritize situations or tasks on demand.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word is essential.
