Project Coordinators to join our big family at our projects in Vancouver and Richmond.

The Project Coordinator will:

  • Manage basic project correspondence, organize project files, and issue documents to the correct parties who need the information
  • Help to secure permits and book inspections when required
  • Process project RFI's and be able to create and follow up on Mechanical RFI's
  • Process project Site Instructions, issue them to trades, vendors and the site team. The coordinator shall interpret the instruction and assist with preparing any estimates/quotes for the Project Manager to review and submit
  • Conduct site visits and prepares a progress report for the Project Manager to review for Billing purposes
  • Prepare documents for O&M Manuals when required
  • Prepare LEED documentation if required
  • Update project and department logs
  • Maintain a favourable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment
  • Suggest methods to improve PMP operations, processes, efficiency and service delivery to both internal and external customers
  • Attend project meetings as required
  • Provide project management backup as required
  • Participate in a LEAN construction culture
  • Perform other duties as required

_ Education and Experience_

  • Proven work history as a Mechanical Project Coordinator
  • A diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with personnel of other departments
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and orally
  • Certification in Project Management would be considered an asset
  • Able to use project management software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Prior use in Bluebeam is considered an asset
  • Prior use in Procore or similar software platforms is considered an asset
  • Prior use in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software

_ Work Conditions_

  • This is a fulltime position
  • Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals
  • Able to lift 25 pounds
  • Overtime as required
  • Walking through uneven grounds on construction job sites
