What You Will Be Doing
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
Manage the recruitment and selection process. Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Support current, and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
Maintain pay plan and benefits program; monitor and schedule individual pay actions; recommend, plan, and implement pay structure revisions.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Maintain employee benefits programs & directing the processing of benefit claims
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal, Provincial and Local requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings (if required)
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
What You Need for this Position
Work experience with a Software Consulting Company
Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
People-oriented and results-driven
Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of Canadian & Provincial labour laws and HR Best practices
In-depth knowledge of Laws Against Sexual Harassment
