Power-Tek Group, a leading Ottawa based multi-trade construction company is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Construction division.

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the project management and estimating teams. Power-Tek Groups Construction division specializes in commercial fit-up and maintenance projects ranging from $50k to $10m in project value.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the project team with coordination and project support
  • Collaborate and maintain open communication team members, trade partners, consultants and clients
  • Review, maintain and update construction schedules
  • Review and followup of shop drawings, RFI's, purchase orders, change orders and project completion documents
  • Collect, review and analyze project quotes with a goal of obtaining the best prices in the market
  • Attend and document project meetings

Requirements:


  • 13 years' experience in the construction industry
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or relevant field
  • A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of the Ottawa construction market

Salary:
$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
