    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Proficiency in CAD design software, specifically CREO and Solidworks
    • Familiarity with opto-mechanical module MSA form factor requirements
    • Expertise in manual and automated Micro-manipulars, including NewPort XYZ stage and Hexapod
    • Design and assembly of parts for electrical and/or optical Probe stations
    • Conducting FEA stress and thermal modeling on electro-optical assemblies
    • Developing mechanical design fixtures for PCB test boards and optical alignment support brackets or grippers
    • Creating working drawings and assembly manuals for submission to ADTRAN data management system (Agile)
    • Obtaining quotations, lead times, and ordering prototype parts from local machine shops
    • Completion of other assigned duties
