    Location Centre for Innovation and Excellence

    Pacific Western Transportation is seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time Driver Examiner to join our team at its Centre for Innovation and Excellence in Edmonton.

    As a leading player in the passenger transportation industry, Pacific Western Transportation operates a diverse fleet of over 4,000 buses and employs over 5,000 professionals across Canada.

    With four strategic business lines encompassing Employee Transportation, Student Transportation, Transit, and Motorcoach services, we serve a wide range of communities and organizations across Western Canada.

    As a Driver Examiner, your primary responsibility will be conducting Class 2 road tests. This role will offer 10-20 hours per week, with the potential of turning into a full-time role.

    In-house training as per the programs, policies, and guidelines of Pacific Western Transportation Safety and Training Department
    Must have held a Class 1 or 2 license for a minimum of 5 years
    Possess or willing to obtain a current driver examiner license
    Proficient in computer and tablet usage for effective testing procedures
    Thorough knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and emergency procedures
    Maintain a clear 5-year commercial driver's abstract and criminal record
    Conduct Class 2 road tests
    Adhere to the programs, policies, and guidelines of Pacific Western Transportation Safety and Training Department
    Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to testing and evaluation
