    Description
    Agilus is recruiting for a Electrical Design Engineer in the engineering industry in Windsor, Ontario

    Responsibilities:


    Develop electrical schematics/layouts (SLD, power distribution, lighting layouts, panel schedules, load calculations, etc.) based on project deliverablesPrepare cost estimates and various reports based on collected data (power studies, ArcFlash, etc.) for Senior reviewersLiaise with Clients and Local Distribution CompaniesAssist in Contract Administration (prepare Form of Tender documentation, organize specifications, review tender submissions, etc.)



    Performs field checks for gathering data, measurements verification and coordination.
    Perform Construction Administration during construction, systems start-ups and system buyoffsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededRequirements:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering or technologist diploma with electrical focus or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering environment.

    Knowledge of electrical theory and basic construction and design of electrical distribution systems and various electrical studiesKnowledge of ESA, CSA, and other industry standards.

    Must be able to perform fieldwork with minimum supervision (manufacturing, industrial, commercial, institutional, and construction environments)Electrical modeling software considered an asset.

    Instrumentation and control experience considered an assetProficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD is required. Proficiency in Revit.

    Experience in BIM 360 and InventorHold a valid driver's license with a good driving recordMust be able to obtain work permit in the United States.
