Where - In Office, Calgary Alberta

Compensation - $ $22.00 per hour

Job Description:


Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Associate's primary objective is to assist with the Company's procurement requirements necessary to meet the organization's operations needs.

They will work alongside the Warehouse and Dispatch teams in order to seamlessly manage technician purchase orders, and part warranties and returns.

Responsibilities:

Technician Purchase Orders

Prepare purchase orders ensuring accuracy, product details, quantities, and delivery dates
Submit purchase orders to various vendors
Schedule and coordinate customer appointments once parts have been received.
Prompt and proactive communication with customers regarding any delays, changes or issues related to their orders
Acquire parts through different procurement channels

Returns

Verify the eligibility of return requests by checking purchase dates, warranty periods and adhere to return policies
Process return paper work, including updating inventory records, initiating refunds and tracking the return shipment and credit or refund


Qualifications:
Must Haves

  • Sourcing and vendor management
2+ years of purchasing experience
Strong time management skills

Assets

  • Experience with HVAC industry or related field
Service Titan experience/knowledge
