OVERVIEW
Reporting directly to Maintenance or Planning Lead / Manager, The Maintenance Planner will ensure assets strategies are developed for area (by creating SAP task list as per approved ESDS (Equipment Strategy Data Sheet) and by supporting PM optimization work) in accordance with Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) Standards, Technical and Master Data Standards and Asset Strategy Project Charter.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Translating approved ESDS into SAP task listReview the ESDS, maintenance procedures/ check sheets prior to ESDS (Equipment Strategy Data Sheet) review and ensure task list requirements are adequately defined
Conduct field verification (and/or review model) to identify steps required for maintenance tasksIdentify all Trades and Services Required with estimated hoursCreate the task list as per the action item in ESDS.Identify the material require and find the right Material Master number and assign to related operation steps.
- Support PM synchronization and optimization across systemsAcross systems/disciplines (e.g. rotating equipment, fixed equipment, E&I, process in order to maximize the window of opportunities)
Resource balancingAligned production plans (Turnarounds, Major Events, Program work)
- Participate in asset criticality and asset strategy development sessions, bring relevant history to the review sessions
- Coordinate resources and equipment as needed during shutdown
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Trade certificate (Electrical or Instrument or Mechanical) from a recognized institution
- Five to ten years' of plant maintenance experience as maintenance planner or maintenance crew or foreman or supervisor preferably in oil and gas industry. Other heavy industry experience will be considered.
- Minimum five years' SAP experience in creating Task list or Material Master (MM) or PM programs or Master Data
Skills and Knowledge:
- In plant knowledge of "how things get done" in utilities operation, maintenance, and reliability
