Job Description for a Warehouse Clerk

Background
Our company manufactures electronic products for a large number of customers. We require a Warehouse Clerk in training.

This is a job for someone who enjoys communicating with others, is highly organized, able to multitask, and handle the stress of a fast-paced work environment.

Duties
Participate in and learn to work in a small team to carry out the daily activities of the department, these include:

Carry out incoming inspection of received materials
Data entry for incoming materials in our company computer system
Prepare packaging instructions for outgoing product
Data entry for outgoing materials in our company computer system
Ensure that all outgoing materials are correctly packaged
Call couriers to physically move material
Complete shipping documents for cross border shipment
Build kits from received materials for production
Handle the return of defective materials from our suppliers and our customers
Ensure the security of our shipping receiving area.
Implement our company's 5 S program and continuous improvement programs

Qualifications

Very strong organizational skills
Very good attention to detail
Fanatical interest in order and cleanliness
Enthusiastic positive attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
High degree of proficiency with use of Windows operating system, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Training
We will provide on the job training

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time

Salary:
$18.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
