Agricorp is looking for a
Business Operations Advisor within our Business Operations team in the Program Delivery division.


The Role:


Reporting to the Team Leader, Business Operations, the Business Operations Advisor will lead and facilitate the resolution of escalated operational issues.

They will lead in planning for business changes and operational improvements and will also provide reporting and analysis to support the effective management of Agricorp operations.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the resolution of escalated complex and highly complex operational issues, such as procedural, systems and informational issues, using effective critical thinking skills to enable a successful outcome
  • Lead in the planning and implementation of business change and operational improvements, including variances to planned business activities
  • Lead crossfunctional teams in the development and effective implementation of operational improvement initiatives
  • Manage effective crossdivisional relationships for issues management and business change implementation
  • Analyze performance indicators, trend reports and makes recommendations for improvement to Team Leader including development and/or modification of processes, procedures and SOP's to enhance organizational effectiveness in issues management or operational change implementation
  • Act as a leader for operational issues management, facilitating and documenting lessons learned sessions as required to enable continuous improvement of operational issues management
  • Provide secretariat support to the Operations Committee, acting as the primary point of contact for all members of the Operations Committee and for key stakeholders and staff with inquiries relating to the Operations Committee
  • Maintain strong working relationships with the committee Chair and the committee members to clarify highly complex issues, enabling effective and efficient support and outcomes
  • Liaise with other Agricorp business units to clarify issues, ensure the required information is gathered, assessed, and communicated in a timely, appropriate manner, and ensure a comprehensive resolution is achieved

Salary:
$78,030 - $91,800

Work status:
Full time in office, remote and hybrid work arrangements are available

Location:
Must live in Ontario to perform this role


Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in business administration, finance, or economics preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years' related experience
  • Insurance, finance and/or agricultural industry experience required
  • Public sector experience an asset
  • Experience communicating to diverse stakeholders with influence and authority
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation, or working towards designation, an asset
