    Description

    General Labour

    Our client in Scarborough by Kingston and Lawrence is looking for a Batch Maker.

    Responsibilities:

    Grade 12 education or equivalent

    Mathematically skilled to operate in volume metric and mass calculations

    Operate Forklift (an asset)

    Effective written and oral communication skills

    Capable of following Batch Cards, Work Orders, Environmental, Quality, Heath and Safety Policies/Procedures.

    Monitor gauges, signal records and observe color change in product to ascertain reaction rates

    Perform trouble shooting and routine maintenance of process equipment

    Perform inventory of raw materials

    Bulk loading and unloading, lift 1 to 50lbsPackaging orders

    Packaging/ Labelling/ Packing on skids

    Good hand eye coordination

    Able to lift 1-50lbs

    Able to stand for a long period of time

    Warehouse work

    General labor duties

    Work closely with other co-workers and departments

    Present and conduct yourself professionally at all times

    Keep your work area clean and tidy at all times

    Perform other duties as per assigned

    Job Qualifications:

    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Strong attention to detail

    Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment

    Requirements:


    • Must have steel toe safety shoes


    • Proof of Completion of Workers Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
