We are looking for an exceptional talent to join the Sales Operations Team as a Bilingual Proposal Writer.
In this role you will support the Quebec Commercial Sales and National Commercial Team, coordinating, writing, and submitting RFP Responses and tenders in both French and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Highly skilled writing and composition capabilityEnglish and French
- Sales or Marketing experience would also be an asset for this role
- Managing the creation of responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs) and other Customer Questionnaire projects
- Determining proposal response concepts and strategies by identifying and clarifying opportunities and client needs; studying/understanding RFP/RFI client documents and their associated deliverables; attending and participating in bid strategy meetings and developing and refining content for submissions
- Developing project plans/timelines for Proposal deliverables based on prescribed RFP timelines
- Creating proposals by assembling content including both "boilerplate" and customized client specific technical content, writing, revising and editing drafts including executive summaries and other related materials
- Obtaining approvals by reviewing proposals with key contributors, the commercial team and project managers
- Identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals from initial go/nogo and throughout the proposal development process
- Developing and refining content for current RFP submissions and for future submission opportunities
- Maintaining quality results by using templates; following proposalwriting standards including readability, consistency, and tone; and maintaining proposal support and content databases.
- Improving proposalwriting results by evaluating and redesigning processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes to make improvements
- Accomplishing organizational goals by accepting accountability in completing requests; exploring enhancement opportunities and adding value to job deliverables through a continuous improvement mindset
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong and highly proficient verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
- Print, marketing and business communications industry knowledge/experience
- Graphic/word processing design skills
