Description

Position Overview
Reporting to the Drilling Supervisor, the Driller is responsible for:

Inspect work areas to ensure safety as prescribed by the Supervisor
Reading prints and layouts
Drilling with top hammer or ITH long hole drill
Installing services and prepping drill sites
Aiding in long hole blasts
Other general mine operation duties as required

Qualifications

Full Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core
At least 2 years heavy equipment operating and underground experience
Knowledge of top hammer, ITH long hole drilling
Stope prep knowledge or relatable experience
Possess additional licenses such as tractor, scoop, scissor lift, flatbed and transmixer
Raisebore, V30 drilling and long hole blasting would be an asset (all position certificate is an asset)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
