JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Role of technical contributor who analyzes needs and gaps, writes functional specifications and configures the solution.
  • Support for several stages of the software development cycle: Understanding business needs, writing technical specifications, development support, writing test strategies, running tests.

Your role:

  • Act as an IT expert functional analyst on complex APIs with synchronous and asynchronous exchanges
  • Understand and challenge business needs and convert them into functional requirements while ensuring the traceability of requirements
  • As part of the agile methodology, write detailed functional analyses (aligning with business needs and the solution) architecture), validate them with business partners, present them to developers and validate their proper implementation.
  • Ensure communication with business partners during the different phases of development.
  • Advise partners by proposing alternative solutions, and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the systems in place.
  • Perform functional tests and assist the test team in the development and realization of acceptance tests of the developed solutions.
  • Make diagnoses, realize, coordinate and solve problems related to the proper functioning of solutions.
  • Adapt to constantly evolving technologies, show curiosity and boldness in order to propose new solution ideas.
  • Analyze the impacts on the solution and suggest action plans for adjustments.
  • Master the technological ecosystem and understand the interrelationships.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum experience of 5 years in functional analysis in the delivery of largescale projects
  • Great ease of communication and ability to popularize complex
IT concepts - Excellent analytical skills and team
spirit - Oriented towards achieving objectives and meeting deadlines

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and DevOps
  • Knowledge of JIRA/Tempo/Confluence
  • Ability to manage priorities and time effectively
  • Autonomy and versatility
  • Meticulousness and rigor

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Montréal, QC H2M 1H7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
