How will you contribute?:


  • The Tenant Services Coordinator's responsibilities include:
  • Planning, organizing, developing and managing the implementation of accommodation projects (including renovations, refreshes and repairs) for a portfolio of customers throughout the project cycle.
  • Ensuring the quality and speed of project execution.
  • Palliate and coordinate projects awarded in connection with building maintenance.
  • Ensuring an integrated approach to project implementation with all internal and external service providers and contractors.
  • Coordinating all building access requests to carry out work in Senateoccupied buildings. Coordinating requests for existing internal contracts (e.g., internal signage, gym equipment maintenance, etc.).
  • Planning and coordination of office moves, rearranges, ergonomic requests and standardizing vacant offices (senators).


The Tenant Services Coordinator is expected to be on site on a rotating basis, and will remain available to respond to building emergencies during normal working hours, as required (e.g., flooding, etc.).


Open to:


The general public to staff one (1) determinate (full-time) position of one (1) year, in the Property and Services Directorate.

In addition to their resume, applicants are required to send a cover letter (maximum one page).

Prerequisites:


  • Postsecondary education in a relevant field OR a combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience offering tenant services or facilities management services to corporate clients;
  • Must have demonstrated experience working in collaboration with external stakeholders on corporate construction projects including maintenance, renovations or repairs;
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee resources on project deliverables across multidisciplinary teams including but not limited to designers, architectural technologist and external partners (e.g., Public Services and Procurement Canada);
  • Superior customer service and communication skills are required to build relationship with internal/external parties while setting appropriate expectations;
  • Knowledge of Parliament and the Canadian political landscape would be considered an asset.
