Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain a safe and clean work site
Assist Site Superintendent, Equipment Operators and other workers with their tasks as directed
Operate and look after small tools and equipment
Comply with all safety policies and procedures
Execute traffic control plans/direct traffic and equipment when necessary
May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Labourer in civil construction
Must be highly motivated, selfdriven and detail oriented
Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks
Experience operating heavy machinery is an asset
A strong safety record and the ability to work with a variety of individuals
Ability to work as part of a team
Valid certifications or willingness to obtain certifications in WHMIS 2015, Electrical Safety and Level 1 First Aid
Willing to travel out of town on rotations
Traffic Control certification considered an asset
