Description

At Kidco Construction, we are building Calgary from the ground down.

Key Responsibilities:

Order, track, dispense, and manage parts inventories for a variety of machines, supporting gear, and business operations including: heavy equipment, on road trucking, smaller equipment (skid steers), and truck fleet as well as signage and safety items
Maintain accurate records and detailed orders regarding parts requirement
Coordinate deliveries with parts drivers
Suggest suitable substitutes or alternatives when timelines, pricing, or other barriers to requested parts exists
General housekeeping of parts department including stocking parts
Picking parts orders for PM work orders
Inventory counts as required
Dispatching of delivery driver to pick up and deliver parts as required

Typical shifts:

Monday - Friday: 10.5 hours

Saturdays: 8 hours - alternating weekends

Has 5 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry

Working knowledge of heavy-duty earth moving equipment, heavy haul trucks and service trucks is imperative:

Is fluent in English
both written and oral
Has a Class 5 Driver's License, with clean drivers abstract, Q endorsement an asset
Has experience driving forklift, skid steer, and small cranes an asset
Possess a strong sense of urgency, is a selfstarter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload
Can troubleshoot and problems solve analyzing and resolving service issues promptly and professionally

Some heavy lifting is required
