At Kidco Construction, we are building Calgary from the ground down.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Order, track, dispense, and manage parts inventories for a variety of machines, supporting gear, and business operations including: heavy equipment, on road trucking, smaller equipment (skid steers), and truck fleet as well as signage and safety items
  • Maintain accurate records and detailed orders regarding parts requirement
  • Coordinate deliveries with parts drivers
  • Suggest suitable substitutes or alternatives when timelines, pricing, or other barriers to requested parts exists
  • General housekeeping of parts department including stocking parts
  • Picking parts orders for PM work orders
  • Inventory counts as required
  • Dispatching of delivery driver to pick up and deliver parts as required

Typical shifts:

Monday - Friday: 10.5 hours

Saturdays: 8 hours - alternating weekends

  • Has 5 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry

Working knowledge of heavy-duty earth moving equipment, heavy haul trucks and service trucks is imperative:

  • Is fluent in English
  • both written and oral
  • Has a Class 5 Driver's License, with clean drivers abstract, Q endorsement an asset
  • Has experience driving forklift, skid steer, and small cranes an asset
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency, is a selfstarter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Can troubleshoot and problems solve analyzing and resolving service issues promptly and professionally

  • Some heavy lifting is required
