Your Contribution:
As a Environmental Technician Coop, you will work in collaboration with the Environmental Team
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Drilling and sampling supervision for environmental site investigations
- Groundwater and surface water quality sampling
- Aquifer performance tests and private well surveys
- Assisting with the preparation of Environmental Site
- Assessment reports
- Organizing and managing chemical and hydrogeological data
Your Profile:
- Enrolled in an Environmental/Geological/Civil Engineering program or related discipline;
- Ability to handle samples up to 25kg of materials regularly ;
- Good oral and written skills to communicate with all personnel involved in the projects;
- Must have a valid Ontario G Driver's License.
- Access to a personal vehicle for work purposes (mileage will be compensated)
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety
