Who We're Looking for?

Cascadia Metals Port Kells is looking to hire a Forklift Driver for our warehouse. We are looking for a driven team member, who shares our champion mindset and values

Duties
and Responsibilities:

Loading trucks from small customer pickups to full Btrain trailers
Unloading trucks with coil, sheet and site supplies
Unload rail cars and containers
Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard
Organizing and sorting material for loading and space optimization
Scanning loads with an RF scanner
Reading paperwork to ensure accuracy of load
Double checking loads for accuracy
Poly wrap trucks
Other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

Must have forklift experience and license
Must be reliable and punctual
Crane experience preferred but not mandatory
Steel handling experience preferred but not mandatory
Flexibility; able to multitask and work as part of a team
Ability to read orders and complete basic paperwork
