Reporting to:

Compensation:
CAD $42,500 to $50,000 depending on experience

We are currently seeking a Financial Aid Officer to support Innivec's continued vision of providing top-notch education services to our students.


Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to transactions managed by the unit, acting as a liaison with other stakeholders for administrative and operational problemsolving.
  • Providing information to students, prospective students, and families via inperson, telephone, and digital platforms regarding student financial aid, admissions, College account balance, and registration status.
  • Acting as a liaison with provincial, federal, and other agencies, staying informed about student assistance opportunities and program regulations.
  • Supervising the collection, management, and reporting of data, participating in the development and implementation of data management systems and procedures.
  • Managing specific administrative programs and/or service areas as assigned.
  • Conducting workshops and presentations on financial aid policy and procedural matters.
  • Participating in committee readings for scholarship selection and academic progress appeals.
  • Providing academic advice and crisis intervention referrals, arranging tutorial support as needed.
  • Updating student profiles to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Exercising sound judgment in decisionmaking regarding operations, student needs, and interdepartmental requirements.
  • Staying informed about new courses, policies, and procedures to provide excellent customer service to clients and students and ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensuring adherence to all Innivec College policies promptly and consistently.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and friendly demeanor at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Postsecondary education in business or finance from an accredited institution, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Previous experience in the Private Career College industry as a Financial Aid Officer.
  • Ability to thrive in a highvolume, fastpaced, timesensitive environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay:
$42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
