    Type of position: Regular

    An overview of your future role at BBA

    You'll be reporting to the Department Manager, Operational Solutions, andwill work on developing IT solutions to support the firm's operations. You'llbe responsible for providing creative solutions to complex and evolvingsoftware requirements. You must have strong knowledge of .NET and C#programming and adopt modern DevOps and agile software development life cycleprocesses. You must also be able to work on a team and under pressure todevelop quality deliverables.

    You'll work closely with the firm's various stakeholders, your teammembers and other areas of IT (analysts, BI, infrastructure and the ServiceCentre).

    An overview of your mandates andresponsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders (, business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, analysts and end-users) to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Design, develop and deploy business solutions using the .NET platform or other development platforms for existing applications and systems.
  • Help improve architecture, design, implementation and security standards for integrations.
  • Design high-quality code that meets client needs, can be reused across multiple projects and integrates well with existing technologies and software.
    Be responsible for integrating and managing the orchestration of integration flows, including API management and file-based integrations.
  • Assist with technical development documentation (commentary, source code, architecture diagrams, database modelling, etc.).
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure performance and compliance with established development standards.
  • Proactively participate in software performance monitoring and implement solutions to resolve critical issues.
    Investigate complex problems, find optimal solutions and implement them in line with best practices.
  • Help estimate the effort required for planning and ensure project deadlines are met.

  • Training in IT Management or any other relevant field
  • At least five years of experience in application development
  • Knowledge of .NET and C# programming
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases
  • Ability to work with Azure DevOps to manage the agile and DevOps development cycle
  • Hold excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • Asset: Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Asset: Knowledge of DevExpress's XAF platform
  • Asset: Knowledge of cloud development (Web applications, function, orchestrator, API Management)
  • Asset: Demonstrated experience in system integration
