    PartnerStaffing on behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of municipal and industrial water/wastewater facility projects,as well as building infrastructure initiatives across the Edmonton region. Theideal candidate brings a strong background in complex, multi-disciplinaryconstruction projects, excels at managing contractors and consultants, andensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Thisrole offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that supportcritical infrastructure and long-term community growth.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage fullproject lifecycle from planning and procurement through construction,commissioning, and close-out.
    • Lead thecoordination of civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines forwater/wastewater treatment facilities and related building infrastructure.
    • Overseecontractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, andcost objectives.
    • Prepare andmanage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and risk management plans.
    • Administercontracts, manage change orders, and ensure compliance with specifications,regulatory requirements, and municipal standards.
    • Conductregular site inspections and progress meetings, providing clear reporting tointernal teams and stakeholders.
    • Resolvetechnical issues, mitigate risks, and proactively address project challenges.
    • Collaboratewith engineering teams, permitting agencies, and municipal partners to supportseamless project execution.
    • Ensureconstruction documentation, submittals, and reports are accurate, complete, andmaintained.

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years ofprogressive experience in construction project management,preferably in water/wastewater facilities, municipal infrastructure, orindustrial buildings.
    • Diploma ordegree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Technology, or a relateddiscipline work experience.
    • Strongunderstanding of water/wastewater treatment systems, process equipment, andbuilding infrastructure.
    • Provenexperience managing contractors, construction teams, and multi-phase projectportfolios.
    • Excellentknowledge of Alberta Building Code, OH&S regulations, and municipalstandards.
    • Proficientwith project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
    • Strongleadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • PMP, CET, orP.Eng designation considered an asset.
