- Researching additional information by liaising with various manufacturing companies, contractors and government agencies to ensure final designs are practical and meet all applicable code requirements.

- Membership in good standing with the Association of Architectural Technologies of Ontario (AATO) is required. Architectural Technologists licenses with the Ontario Association of Architects until 2023 is acceptable.
