Are you looking for part-time work every Sunday? If you are looking for a way to augment a full-time income or can only work on the weekend this might be the opportunity for you.

At Bondi Produce & Specialty Foods you will be scheduled regularly every Sunday.

You will start with a pre-loaded truck and a start time as early as 5:00AM; shift options are for Sunday only.

Your typical day would include making time-sensitive food deliveries to restaurants and docks. All deliveries are produce and are light but bags of carrots and potatoes are 50lbs. Approximately 20% of a given order is heavy.

About 30% of the time is spent driving on the road and 70% of the time is spent making deliveries using a dolly.

Delivering downstairs may be required depending on the route.

Requirements:

Ability to commit to every Sunday (with reliable attendance).
A Gclass licence with a clean abstract.
Experience with "hand bomb" style deliveries an asset.
Strong knowledge of GTA roads and routes.
Reliable and flexible to drive within and outside the GTA.
Minimum 1 year experience driving an 18 foot (or greater) truck.
Ability to lift packages up to 25 kg.

What to Expect:

This is a fast-paced environment...In this position you will have to make timely deliveries to restaurants, hotels, institutions, cafeterias in the GTA.

A focus on customer service...Our drivers are the face of the company. You will likely be interacting with the same people every shift. As such, you will be encouraged to build relationships and troubleshoot problems on the fly.
