Overall Responsibility:


Contribute to the continued growth of the company in the areas of Construction Management, Design Build and General Contracting services.


Responsibilities:


  • Report to the Project Manager and assist the Site Superintendent with day to day management and quality control.
  • Ensure compliance is being maintained with contract specifications and scope of work; establishing and monitoring construction work schedules.
  • Management and scheduling of materials, manpower and subtrade contractors to ensure effective project completion for our clients.
  • Assist in estimating process to ensure accurate competitive pricing of construction projects. Accurate work that is completed to meet stringent deadlines is necessary.
  • Assist in execution of onsite QA/QC activities and procedures (prepour inspections, ensuring subtrade work is constructed as per specifications, etc.) As directed.
  • May represent the company in meetings with clients, subtrades, engineers and architects.
  • Document control for the purposes of quality control and assurance.
  • Timely and accurate completion of construction documentation.
  • Develop construction specifications and procedures.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials
  • Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • Duties may vary from time to time, as required, to ensure projects are completed to meet client requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience working in the construction industry is preferred
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
  • Experience with scheduling and estimating software.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
