    Our public sector client is looking for a Test Lead to help with Active Directory modernization and Identity management related projects


    This person will be :

    • Responsible for the overall testing related project activities and deliverables.
    • Handle project escalations and provide resolutions.
    • Track overall progress of execution of the engagement.

    Responsibilities


    • Perform activities based on best practices and procedures
    • Interact with stakeholders for task allocation and prioritization.
    • Define and manage the overall test strategy & detailed test plan.
    • Take ownership for management of testing activities and ensure that risks are identified and appropriately mitigated. Escalate as required.
    • Track overall progress of execution of the engagement.
    • Perform all testing execution
    • Coordinate the development, planning and execution of new functionality, integration, end to end and regression tests.
    • Facilitate the defect management and coordinate with all impacted parties to ensure that defects are appropriately raised, prioritized and resolved.
    • Assist with the setup and management of the test environments and test data.
    • Report on all test deliverables and obtain sign-off.
    • Responsible for the overall testing related project activities and deliverables.
    • Handle project escalations and provide resolutions.
    • Track overall progress of execution of the engagement.
    • Define and manage overall testing and defect management process and activities, including performance and automation.
    • Communicate test results and status to the project manager and/or key project leadership and stakeholders. as well as the development or architecture leads responsible for corrective actions
    • Work closely with development, architecture and support organizations providing direction on testing activities, reporting on test progress and system readiness across a portfolio of initiatives.
    • Participate in product readiness and release decisions and provides test sign-off documentation.
    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • At least 5 years experience testing Azure systems , Active Directory and Identity management (Most important)
    • 5 to 8 years of experience in leading business application and/or software testing using JIRA/Zephyr.
    • Strong experience analyzing and understanding functional, technical and non-functional requirements in a variety of application environments and creating functional and technical test cases and scripts.
    • 5 to 8 years of experience leading testing in a hybrid environment (as applicable)
    • Experience in creating Project Test Strategies/Plans covering functional, SIT, E2E, Regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases
    • Experience managing multiple testing streams and cross-functional teams
    • Strong communication, collaboration and analytical skills
    Summary
