We are looking for a Manager, Administration to join our team in Edmonton


You will be responsible for managing administrative functions across multiple departments while planning and coordinating procedures and systems to strengthen and streamline business processes.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Provide assistance with HR functions
  • Assist with biweekly payroll processing through Workday. Assist in human resources activities such as newhire, changeofstatus, benefits education, terminations, etc. Coordinates meetings with employees (exit interviews, new hire orientations, etc.), and may facilitate training.
  • Responsible for office services such as reception, mail distribution, maintenance, cleaning, records retention, and recreation services as well as providing administrative support such as coordinating travel and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist Finance with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Arrange office configuration changes and modifications, evaluating estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs and providing thorough recommendations to site leadership
  • Manage suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
Tracks budget spend and reports variances as appropriateWHAT YOU BRING:

  • College Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic Finance and HR knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong problem solving abilities and the capability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Workday is a plus
