**JOB SUMMARY:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shop upkeep including cleaning, parts storage, inventory and organization.
Complete preventative maintenance on GSE per the GSE Manager and preventative maintenance program (oil/filter changes etc.)
Troubleshoot GSE challenges and report to the GSE Manager.
Track and provided reports on GSE performance and deficiencies.
Liaise with 3rd party support companies.
Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.
Decal installation per company requirements.
Touch up painting, cosmetic work and overall appearance standards to be met.
Data entry into Hippo (Asset Management Program) for GSE.
Admin responsibility for Hippo.
Dialogue with local GSE support team members (if available).
Provide mechanical support to sister companies and equipment as required.
Actively participate in company safety programs.
Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
Follow safe disposal requirements for hazardous products.
Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.
Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
Travel (air or road) as required to other Maintair stations and sister company stations.
Perform deicing operations as a backup (when needed).
Other duties as required from time to time, as provided my management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must have 23 years previous mechanical / small engine / diesel experience.
Must have valid driver's license with clean abstract.
Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
Previous airline experience would be an asset.
Must have sound understanding of parts inventory and cataloguing.
Must have excellent team player competencies.
Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of Google, Office and Hippo Asset Management.
Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts.
Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
