CIC offers the Total Care Education System to support students to achieve their goal of getting into a post-secondary institution of their choice.

Our Total Care Education provides services that can support international students to meet their Academic, Social, Emotional and Physical needs.

The Employee's duties as Human Resources Administrator shall include but are not limited to the following, which may be amended from time to time:


Human Resources:

Collaboratively and proactively supports the HR team in an array of initiatives and projects as required

Actively participates in full-cycle recruitment, orientation, training, employee inquiries, event planning, benefit information and other HR functional areas as required

Acts as a member of the Social Committee and actively participates in event planning and implementation


Recruitment:

Advertise openings using the appropriate media

Research new ways of using social media for recruitment

Communicate regularly with hiring managers on progress and timeline

Facilitate interviews and selection process with the hiring manager

Prepare and extend offer letters


Orientation:

Assist with the on boarding of new employees (this will include orientation, training, etc.)

Create, maintain and audit employee files

Work closely with Managers to insure that an onboarding plan has been created and is being followed

Ensure that the appropriate criminal background check is submitted by all new hires

Enter new hire data into ADP


Training and Development:

Assist with training as required

Ensure that all legislative training is completed in a timely manner


Administration:


Maintain company procedures, HR initiatives, and company policies; update and revise employee handbook as required; audit employee files for compliance/track and resolve compliance issues.

HR filing as assigned

Project work as assigned

Assist with employee benefits as required


Requirements:

Completion of a Human Resources Management Certificate.

Undergraduate degree, and/or College Diploma in Business is an asset.

CHRP/L designation or working towards is preferred.

1-3 years experience in Human Resources

Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Superior oral and written communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills


Hours of Work:

Regular Business Hours

Some flexibility required
