    Night Shift: 10pm - 6:30am Sunday to Thursday

    Responsibilities

    • Complete the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment as required, including working with external contractors.
    • Conduct routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure the most efficient flow of production with the least possible downtime.
    • Support maintenance of spare parts list.
    • Work according to schedule made by production department and Maintenance Supervisor and ensure scheduler is aware when work assignments cannot be completed as planned.
    • Maintain detailed records of labour hours of unscheduled repairs and improvements and technical repairs when creating work orders.
    • Comply with all company policies when required.
    • Execute the preventative maintenance program.
    • Additional duties as required.
    Qualifications

    • Licensed 433a with 35+ years of experience
    • Able to communicate clearly in English (both verbal and written).
    • Assertive and selfmotivated, able to analyze and prioritize tasks.
    • Knowledge of general shop equipment (i.e. Lathe, mill, band saws, and welders) and shop tool processes.
    • Receptive to new ideas, change, and continual improvement. Capable of moving ideas into actions.
    • Creative problem solving skills are essential.
    • Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques of equipment problems.
    • General knowledge of blueprint reading and various kinds of steel and lubricants.
    • Electrical knowledge a strong asset
