    Job Description

    Arista Networks is seeking a skilled Software Developer to create and implement software tools and Machine Learning models. The ideal candidate will collaborate with fellow Developers across the software development life cycle.

    We are looking for a Team Player with a sharp eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities. If you have experience with Agile frameworks and backend coding languages like python and golang, we want to hear from you.

    Your primary objective will be to develop efficient programs and systems that cater to user requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop software tailored to specific customer needs.
    • Create software for internal use.
    • Rapidly prototype projects to demonstrate feasibility.
    • Contribute to open-source initiatives.
    • Offer technical support for TAC Tools products.
    • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated.
    • Demonstrate strong written communication skills.
    • Exercise discretion and independent judgment consistently.
    • Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.
    • Produce clean, effective code based on requirements.
    • Integrate software components and third-party applications.
    • Test, debug, and enhance existing systems.
    • Suggest and implement enhancements.
    • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field; or equivalent experience and training.
    • 4 to 8 years of industry experience.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Linux, Unix, C/C++, and Golang.
    • Understanding of complete backend workflow for web applications.
    • Experience in developing third-party software integration and APIs.
    • Skills in release engineering and CI platforms like Jenkins.
    • Knowledge of relational databases and Agile methodology.
    • Effective team player with a creative mindset.
    • Willingness to adapt to new technologies.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Resourceful problem-solving abilities.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with docker and K8s deployments.
    • Working knowledge of AWS/GCP.
    • Familiarity with Network technologies.
    Additional Information

    The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000 to $135,000. Arista Networks offers competitive pay based on work location and various other factors such as skills and experience. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may receive bonuses and equity incentives.

    Various roles at Arista come with additional benefits, including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, income protection, and retirement savings plans. Sales roles also offer participation in the Sales Incentive Plan with commissions based on sales performance.
