MHIRJ Technical Help Desk (THD) Avionic Specialist, Technical Representative

In your role, you will:


  • Coordinate technical investigations with engineering, supplier's and aircraft operators
  • Carry out a technical analysis and assessment of the problem (trouble shooting) and make corrections
  • Answer technical queries from airline operators by bringing tailored solutions
  • Assess and investigate service difficulties and contribute in providing long term solutions
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and influencers among our airline customers
  • Promote MHIRJ products and services in order to contribute overall profitability
  • You are a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M or E) or FAAcertificated Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) A&P licensed.
  • Your preferred skillset would be concentrating on electrical and avionics trouble shooting.
  • You have 5 years of experience working with an Airline or MRO organization on the CRJ products.
  • You must be a team player showing initiative, have a strong sense of responsibility and possess good technical and commercial judgment.
  • You are willing to travel on short notice. (less than 10% pf your working time)
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English (written and spoken), ability to build and foster positive relationship, being able to communicate effectively at all levels with demonstrated tact and diplomacy.
  • Must be capable of working under pressure, be attentive to details, have good planning skills and be fully committed to accomplishing work on time and on schedule.
  • You are selfmotivated, able to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple time sensitive initiatives simultaneously
