The Project management team provides Strategic Alignment Delivery and oversight to Canada portfolio projects and programs - Ensuring project and programs adhere to the PM methodologies, timely communication of project status to Line of Business leaders & Executive Committee and provide Project management consulting support to projects and Programs.

The Cybersecurity team Security proactively secures the firm's information assets and protects employees and customers from evolving cybersecurity threats.

Internship Program Overview

The Internship Program at MUFG is designed to help students learn key skill sets within the IT Operations Support space.

Interns will benefit from working alongside senior members of the team and will focus on project execution and supporting frameworks for technology support both hardware and software.

Interns will get hands on experience of existing and new projects, understand aspects of project financials, project communications, resource planning, scope definitions, Risks and Issues.

Additionally, the internship program will provide exposure to various aspects of Cyber Security as a FLoD (first line of defense) including cyber oversight and governance, cyber risk management, Policies, and procedures.

Our 8-month Internship Program begins in January and is structured to provide seniors with hands-on experience and business exposure in the world of IT.

Interns will be assigned to a specific group that will focus on quickly developing the skills and knowledge required to become an integral part of the team.

They will work alongside MUFG professionals at all levels who will be their managers and mentors.

Our interns are partnered with mentors to assist in acquiring greater professional knowledge and gain confidence to take responsibility for career development.

Your assigned mentors and managers will establish goals, offer guidance and conduct performance reviews as a commitment to your development.

Qualifications:


  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Generally, a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
  • Completed at least 12 internships within IT or businessrelated field
  • Strong interest in Banking and IT
  • Solid academic standing with recommended course work in IT or Management Degree with a focus on IT
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Strong verbal, writing, analytical and relationship management skills
  • You have interpersonal skills and individual initiative, leadership qualities and the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams
  • Standout student who can excel in a challenging environment with a strong desire to continuously improve and learn new things
