Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA):

    Job Duties
  • Provide support for project management of new initiatives related to programming, administrative processes and resource efficiencies, etc.
  • Provide support for process improvement initiatives and special projects.
  • Assess, research, analyze, interpret, develop, implement, and evaluate administrative processes to ensure efficiencies, effectiveness and standardization which aligns with the Schools and Sask Polytech's strategic direction.
  • Support the Nursing and Health Sciences leadership team in developing, analyzing, and tracking operating and capital budgets.
  • Support staffing resource management.
  • Contribute to the development of the multiyear business plan and operating and capital plan.
  • Design and create detailed and complex spreadsheets and analyze information for decision making for corefunded programs, revenue generating, programs, online courses and continuing education delivery, as well as quality improvement, research and scholarship.
  • Report to the School of Nursing and School of Health Sciences leadership teams an analysis of corefunded programs, revenue generating, programs, online courses and programs, continuing education courses and programs, and research and scholarship during the year.
  • Collaborate with the continuing education consultants, academic chairs and program heads to deliver credit and noncredit programming. Assist with determining financial requirements with new programs and initiatives.
  • Provide troubleshooting and expert support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding the School of Nursing and School of Health Sciences and Sask Polytech programming and services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Administration or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of three years of administrative, and financial or project management experience.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and execute on multiple tasks, in a highly technical and fastpaced environment, with flexibility, good judgement and accuracy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of budget development, budget support and maintenance, financial analysis, financial reporting, financial forecasting and financial decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills, including professional manner on the phone, via zoom and in person, with general knowledge of oral presentation development and delivery.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, managing projects.
  • Training and experience at the advanced level with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to function as a team member in an everchanging environment.
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.
