Description
Loopio is a workplace that unleashes learning & growth opportunities for our Loopers. We provide autonomous, challenging work that allows each employee to master their craft.

We attract and retain people who are naturally curious, have grit and are eager to grow and build their careers.

At Loopio, we genuinely support each other, because true success comes from working as #oneteam.

Reporting to our SVP, Finance & Operations, the Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing and owning all relationships with our external vendors and suppliers.

You are comfortable working with leaders across the business to understand their technology needs.

Within the larger Operations team, you will partner closely with our Legal team to support them in taking our vendor agreements across the finish line.

This role will require the individual to be based in Ontario, and working EST hours.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Understand the tooling and software needs of departments across the company and then subsequently source vendors that will meet these needs.
  • Define a clear procurement process which will be fair and equitable to all vendors that are being considered. As a high growth organization, establish a process which will be scalable and will allow us to purchase at a high velocity.
  • Understand what compliance, security, and privacy protocols our tools need to follow so that they meet our customers' requirements.
  • Have a clear understanding of our Authorization Matrix and ensure that we secure the right authorizations.
  • Once the business unit has identified which vendor will be suitable for their needs, work with the leadership team to procure the goods and services.
  • Initiate and complete purchase orders for company wide procurement.
  • Negotiate all terms and conditions on agreement with the support of our Legal team

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • Ideally experience working within the B2B SaaS industry, ideally in a high growth organization.
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating price and agreements with vendors, in a procurement leadership capacity
  • Experience using sourcing strategy and best practices to bring forward vendors who provide us with the ideal SaaS and technology solutions.
  • Negotiation and collaboration skills to drive consensus and the best outcomes for Loopio
  • Passionate about building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to create a business case and present to the senior leadership team.

Where You'll Work:

  • Loopio is a remotefirst workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We have two Hub Regions, which means that employees live and work within a 300 KM radius of Toronto (within Ontario) or Vancouver (within British Columbia) and work within regular business hours in their timezone.
  • Loopio's office headquarters are located in Toronto's vibrant Kensington Market. Ontario Loopers have the option to work in the Toronto HQ or from home, whatever works best for you Loopio does not have a Vancouver office space and BC Loopers will work remotely from home.
  • You'll collaborate with your teams virtually (we're just a Zoom call away) and have established core sync hours and focus time during the workday to enable us to work smarter together

Why You'll Love Working at Loopio:

  • Your manager supports your development by providing ongoing feedback and regular 1-on-1s
  • You have tons of autonomy and responsibility: this role provides an opportunity to try new things and push creative boundaries
  • You'll learn more than you thought was possible; our team is obsessed with personal and professional growth (every Looper receives a professional mastery allowance each year)
  • You'll be set up to work remotely with a MacBook laptop, a monthly phone and internet allowance, and a workfromhome budget to help get your home office all set up
  • Join us in quarterly company celebrations and a companywide annual retreat to celebrate the big wins and milestones as #oneteam
  • You'll be joining a culture that has thoughtfully built out opportunities for connections in a remotefirst environment.
  • We have Employee Resource Groups, House Teams (curious? ask us about it), virtual yoga, cooking classes and many more moments for us to have fun and learn together
  • You'll be a part of an awardwinning workplace and one of Canada's fastestgrowing companies with ample opportunity to make a big impact here
