Working under the direction of the Principal, Infrastructure, this position is part of the broader Investments team and is primarily responsible for supporting senior team members across the Infrastructure asset class as it pertains to the management of the Infrastructure Investment Portfolio.

As a Member of Our Team, You Will be Responsible For:

  • Conducts research and analysis on a broad range of topics to support investment decision-making across the Infrastructure asset class.
  • Assists the Infrastructure team in the due diligence process and preparation of investment reports and presentation materials.
  • Possess sound investment and sector specific knowledge in energy, power, utilities, and/or transportation and experience in building and analyzing complex financial models.
  • Develops, produces and collates periodic and ad-hoc analysis for investment and portfolio management, and to satisfy board and client reporting requirements.
  • Supports ongoing analysis throughout the investment lifecycle.
  • Applies investment management knowledge to support the Infrastructure team by generating well thought out research and analysis which contributes to policies, procedures and strategies to improve the portfolio's risk-return profile.
  • What do you need to succeed?
  • University degree in Business or a related discipline, CFA designation (or working towards the designation).
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in private markets investing and/or investment banking, preferably in Infrastructure.
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving and researching skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to consistently deliver quality outputs in a fast-paced environment, with an ability to work to tight deadlines and the capability to handle multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and cultivate key partnerships to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and compelling manner and present information to internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative to understand, support and implement goals and objectives.
