Description

The Healthcare Professional is responsible for initiation of prescribed respiratory therapy in the Medigas office, or the client home including assessment, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance.

Promotion of Medigas products and services to referral sources, including educational in-services to medical/healthcare communities is an integral part of the job.

*Initiate and monitor of prescribed respiratory therapy in clients' homes including assessments, education, documentation and follow up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance with therapy

Delivery and exchange of equipment in client's homes may include heavy lifting of equipment up to 60lbs
In home client visits may include long distance travel
In office consultations with sleep and oxygen clients
Conduct respiratory equipment in-service training with various community partners
Build and maintain high quality client and referral relationships
Support in the training and development of new employees as needed
Participate in a regular on-call rotation

*Homecare and sales experience an asset
*Proof of full vaccination against the COVID-19 virus is required for this role. Fully vaccinated means having received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) (e.g. two doses of a two-dose vaccine series, or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series), and having received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior
