As our Sales Manager Extraordinaire, you'll be at the heart of our sales team's success.

With your energetic leadership, you'll orchestrate a seamless array of sales strategies to surpass our targets and propel us to new heights.

You'll inspire and guide our team members to reach their full potential, providing the support they need to tackle any challenge that comes their way.


You'll manage two cross-border sales teams in Canada and the US, showcasing your strong relationship-building skills while balancing department objectives like a pro.

This role requires a flexible schedule and regular travel within North America for occasional in-person support and networking at industry events.


What You'll Be Doing:

Leading and empowering your teams to achieve greatness: You'll be the beacon of motivation for the Teldon & By Design Publishing sales teams, communicating team goals, and identifying opportunities for training and development.

Championing quality: Ensure top-notch service by overseeing the team's adherence to client/program guidelines.

Holding daily success huddles: Lead our daily briefing meetings, energizing the team, setting targets, and unveiling exciting program launches.

Empowering growth: Conduct one-on-one and team meetings to set objectives, share best practices, and unveil sales strategies. You'll also complete annual performance reviews and celebrate success and identify areas for improvement.

Implementing our sales strategy: You'll work your magic in crafting and executing our sales strategy, ensuring that we consistently exceed our sales targets.

Analyzing department statistics with finesse:Continuously track and analyze sales and service targets, call volume and assignments. Your proactive adjustments to processes will drive us to meet and exceed objectives.

Mastering the art of client satisfaction:Handle escalated calls from clients with a focus on delivering optimum levels of quality and service. You'll manage issues like a pro, leaving our clients thrilled with their experience.

Developing meaningful relationships: You'll forge and maintain strong connections with our current and prospective clients from various industries.

Using your power of persuasion: Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospects and clients, leaving them eager to utilize our services.

Recruiting top-notch talent: Help build our dream team by recruiting and training new sales team members, setting objectives and monitoring performance.

Staying ahead of the game: By staying up to date with our products, services, and industry climate, you'll wield the knowledge needed to outsmart the competition.

Flexing your networking prowess: You'll travel to tradeshows across Canada and the US, where you'll work your networking magic.


What You'll Need to Succeed:


  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience leading a highvolume sales team (call center experience preferred).
  • Proven sales and customer service experience, with a solid understanding of best practices.
  • Pragmatic creative thinker, ready to tackle challenges with innovative solutions.
  • Previous experience working in the print marketing industry is a strong asset.
  • Handson leader with strong people management and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM programs, with Salesforce experience being a strong asset.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel frequently in Canada and the US.
  • Strong knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and sales/customer service metrics.
  • Effective problemsolving ability and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, thriving in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Positive, goal achieving attitude, always aiming for success and continuous improvement.
