What Will You Do?

Responsible for unload freight manually or mechanically from incoming trucks or trailers. Count product when required. Record any shortages, damages, overages on the pickup or Linehaul manifest, and report any discrepancy to the shift Foreman, Leadhand or OS&D.
Load or assist in loading appropriate freight onto delivery trucks or trailers and shrink wrap and block pallets when required. Ensure that appropriate bills are with the skid.
Ability to be inside a cold environment for long periods of time
(4 degrees C) Freezer (25 degrees C) all year round

Ensure proper identification of products (E103).
Responsible for LTL order and when necessary, straight truck.
Locate orders according to slips (freezer). Ensure accurate piece count.
Stage orders on dock to meet shipping deadlines.
Responsible for inventory control (manual and computer).
All other duties as required

Who Are We Looking For?

Dock experience preferred.
Accuracy, attention to detail and a team player.
A positive attitude, dependable, on time for work, and respectful with clients or coworkers.
Good understanding of safe work practices and ability to safely operate dock equipment.
Ability to lift freight and other objects up to 60 lbs.

Ce que vous allez faire:

Responsable du déchargement manuel ou mécanique du fret des camions ou remorques entrants. Compter les produits si nécessaire. Enregistrer les manques, les dommages et les excédents sur le manifeste de ramassage ou de transport de ligne et signaler toute anomalie au contremaître de l'équipe, au chef d'équipe ou à l'OS&D.
