Primary Objective of the Position:

Essential Position Functions:

Responsible for end to end freight & customs execution
Coordinate with internal stakeholders in various locations to maintain workflow and their logistics requirements.
Review and analyze requisite shipping metrics for evaluating vendor performance and route optimization
To perform periodical reviews of all outstanding shipment requisitions, confirm status, update stakeholders on the progress
Responsible to support delivery related escalations including tracking & resolution
Develop and lead strategic logistics initiatives which deliver higher service levels, greater logistics flexibility and capacity, and produce operational efficiencies
Identify, justify and implement Continuous Improvement opportunities in all areas of logistics processes; further develop procedures, programs and communication
Perform any other duties incidental to the work described herein

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have 3 years of Freight Buying Experience
Must possess a High School GED or equivalent
Ability to use computer
Word, Excel, adobe
Must be detailoriented and have excellent problem solving abilities.
Able to multi

- task and work well under pressure

Must be selfmotivated and have excellent communication skills
Organizational, Communication, and computer skills
