Position Summary:


The student will create a process, dashboard, and tools for collecting, storing, sharing and reporting on High Liner Foods' sustainability data publicly disclosed in the company's annual sustainability report, MIC and other public-facing reports.


Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Create a list of sustainability metrics material to High Liner Foods and identify owners of each data type; Work with cross functional partners to establish standardized data templates for each of those data points.
  • Help establish dashboards for sustainability KPIs that can be updated regularly to inform the ELT/BOD of progress toward sustainability goals
  • Create a process to collect, store, QCcheck and share sustainability data for quarterly updates and annual sustainability report; Work with Purchasing and other cross functional partners to create process with utility providers to report quarterly utility usage
  • Support ad hoc requests to update customer portals and/or reports with sustainability data

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Business Administration program or similar field
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams to gather information and solve problems
  • Passionate about the industry and looking to further their experience and skills in Sustainability, Business Management
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Critical thinker, and a team player
  • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret various data
  • Good computer skills

High Liner Foods is Remote Friendly We offer a Flexible Hybrid Work Model where corporate office employees have the flexibility to choose a minimum of two office days per week, with the option to work wherever they prefer (office or remote) for the remainder of the week.
