Position Highlights

The Corporate Controller team at ICBC's Head Office is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support the Senior Director,

Finance & Corporate Controller (Corporate Controller). You are a high energy, self-starter that proactively seeks solutions to

problems. You have excellent organizational skills with a passion for administration. Your role is to be proactive, diplomatic,

navigate multiple priorities and to provide stability and consistency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include some of the following:

  • Providing administrative assistance with planning, roll-out and completion of key activities;
  • Coordination of internal and external deliverables
  • Coordination of materials for the audit committee
  • Coordination of regulatory filings prepared by the Corporate Controller team
  • Acting on behalf of the Corporate Controller and the department in responding to internal and external customers and
escalating queries as necessary

  • Assisting with internal lines of business initiatives as it relates to departmental strategy
  • Ensuring adherence to established internal policies and processes
  • Preparing and maintaining documents, correspondence, reports, presentations and statistics which require demonstrated
proficiency in document preparation/editing, spreadsheets and other presentation software

  • Assisting with budget preparation, variance reporting, expense reporting
  • Providing calendar management support and preparing for meetings and special events
  • Issue management tracking.

Must have qualities to be successful in this role: superior organizational skills, multi-tasking, ability to juggle multiple priorities, a

sense of urgency, resiliency and a sense of humour.

Position Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting a senior leader (director level or above) is considered an asset
  • At least 3 to 5 years of related experience in an Administrative/Executive Assistant role
  • Demonstrated relationshipbuilding skills, organizational skills and diplomacy
  • Exceptional verbal communication and business writing skills
  • Proven ability to respond quickly in a fastpaced work environment
  • Superior skills in SharePoint, SAP, Visio, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; being comfortable with technology in general
