- Manage the entire level design team.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to iterate, implement, and execute key design and level building principles.
- Block out and construct levels, iterate through playtesting, and provide/apply feedback.
- Work with the art team to ensure high visual quality design while maintaining gameplay and enjoyment.
- Take full ownership of the design process – from initial sketches to game delivery, including structural testing, scripting, iteration, debugging, and optimization.
- Offer mentoring and troubleshooting assistance to level design team members.
- Proactively identify and solve cross-discipline project challenges and risks.
- Promote a culture of open, honest, and respectful communication among all team members.
- Expertise in game design both in practice and theory.
- Must have designed levels for a multiplayer title within the last 5 years.
- 10 years of professional level design experience, including leading a level design team.
- Experience working on a AAA shooter game.
- At least 2 AAA games published (on PC or console).
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Ability to process, understand, and implement received feedback.
- Strong work ethic and personal drive.
- Knowledge of the Unreal Engine would be advantageous.
