What You'll Do
Oversee daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production and cylinder maintenance activities.
Supervise plant employees, drive on-site business processes, and support continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to all SOPs, work instructions, SHEQ processes, and corporate standards.
Monitor equipment performance, maintain inventory accuracy, and manage plant maintenance activities, including contractor oversight.
Lead EMOC processes for any equipment or procedural changes and maintain site security and orderliness.
Address cylinder complaints, product short shipments, and support medical recall processes.
Collaborate with internal teams including Plant Manager, Sales, Retail, Operations, SHEQ, and regional support groups.
Support employee development, training, and capability-building while fostering teamwork.
Participate in on‑call rotation and overtime as required.
Ensure quality control standards are met to provide safe, compliant products to customers.
What It Takes
Bachelor's degree preferred or Technical College Degree or equivalent formal education and certification related to a technical discipline
2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervision of unionized employees.
Strong understanding of plant operations and compressed gas handling.
Proficient with SAP and MS Office (Word, Excel).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
