    What you'll do:

    • Reads, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications for layout of commercial and Industrial electrical equipment installations
    • Tests electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
    • Installs, repairs, or replaces AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controls
    • Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiberoptic, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts
    • Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage batteries
    • Do preventative maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment)
    • Installs electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required
    • Corrects connections and wiring on equipment controls
    • May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial equipment and connected devices
    • Setup and Programming of PLC's, VFD's, HMI's and other Automation Equipment

    Here is what we need from you:

    • Must be Journeyman electrician
    • Must have valid class 5 drivers license
    • Must be willing to work overtime when needed
    • Automation experience (Preferred)
    • Electrical Training System Certification (Preferred)
    • Prior experience working in a plant environment (Preferred)
    • PLC & HMI Programming experience (Preferred)
    • SCADA Experience would be an Asset (Preferred)
    • Working with AUTOCAD (Preferred)
    • Basic computer skills
    • Working with Industrial Networks. (Ethernet, ControlNET, DeviceNET, Etc.) (Preferred)

    What you can expect:

    • Typical workweek will include Monday through Friday with some Saturday work
    • On-call rotation, changes over each week
    • Some out of town work will be required
    • Work hours may vary, and overtime may be required at times
    • You will work in a plant environment with frequent working conditions both indoor and outdoor

    Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
