Position Description:

The Royal Victoria Hospital is situated on the Glen campus of the MUHC in their outstanding 2015 facility and provides state-of-the-art tertiary and quaternary imaging and care.

There is ample opportunity for clinical research including various novel radiotracers and theranostic projects.

The Royal Victoria Hospital houses five SPECT/CT cameras, one PET/CT and a bone densitometer, and the PET/CT and SPECT/CT at the Montreal General Hospital are currently being upgraded.

Job Duties:

McGill faculty members are expected to contribute to service activities within their units, the University, and the wider scholarly community.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Requirements:

An MD degree with certification in Nuclear Medicine (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada) and licensure or eligibility for licensure in Quebec;
At least one year of fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine;
Leadership qualities and administrative experience;
A commitment to teaching and a strong interest in clinical research and publication.

Assets:

Prior experience as a medical director;
French language skills.
