Job summary

The Admin Support position is responsible for providing key administrative support to the legislative services team. The role involves preparing agendas and minutes of council meetings, administering boards and committees as assigned , maintaining legislatively mandated certification as an Assessment Review Board Clerk and a Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Clerk. Additional responsibilities include reviewing financial reports ensuring redaction is properly completed.

Responsibilities

  • Provides initial communication for Council meetings; prepares the agenda.
  • Posts the agendas to the City's webpage.
  • Attends Council meetings; records minutes.
