Qualifications:

Education: Grade 12 level education or GED certificate
Background: Previous housekeeping and laundry experience
Good time management skills
Good communication skills

Major responsibilities:

Receives direction, assignment and evaluation of work from the Maintenance and Safety Manager.
Provides housekeeping services as scheduled.
Picksup garbage daily.
Reports any changes in a residents' physical, mental or emotional condition to management.
Notifies Building Service Coordinator in the event of an emergency and assists in implementing emergency interventions as delegated by the supervisor on duty.
Maintains tidiness and cleanliness of all equipment, storage and work areas.
Reports any damaged or unsafe equipment to Building Service Coordinator immediately.
Practices infection control protocol.
Reports all resident and staff incidents/accidents immediately.
Participates in all mandatory inservice education and training sessions.
Adheres to the employee standards and Code of Ethics.
Reports to supervisor any equipment or supply requirements.
