Description

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain various metal fabrication equipment, including plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and power tools
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate metal components
Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets or plates to ensure accurate cutting and shaping
Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using welding, soldering, and riveting techniques
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

Previous experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred
Proficiency in operating plasma cutting machines, press brake machines, and power tools
Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
Familiarity with ductwork fabrication is a plus
Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations
Ability to operate a forklift for lifting heavy materials is advantageous
